Yeah that's right. I was smack talking at the gym tonight....in my head. What? I had to keep myself motivated somehow.
First of all, this was my first time going to the gym in months. That's right people months! I was so pumped! I've been running outside for weeks and this was my first time under that golden glowing sign. Woot! Woot!
So back to the smack talk. I love looking around Gold's now. Very entertaining. As I was looking at these overly buff men walking around me at the free weights (looking not checking out, trust me) I had many thoughts.
What? You can bench how much? Big deal. I carried around a baby in my belly plus plenty of extra weight for 39 weeks! Top that. Please, so you've had your nipples pierced? I'm sure that hurt for a week. Try breastfeeding an infant, then we can talk. Oh and these. They're real. I breastfeed, thank you very much. You think your tough 'cause your muscles hurt while you lift all that weight pretty boy? Ha. I delivered a 10lbs 3oz baby without meds.
And that last sentence motivates me to keep working out. That is the most pain I've ever felt in my entire life. You know when your nurse asks you what your pain level is from 0-10, "10" being the worst pain you've ever felt and "0" being no pain at all? I'm pretty sure I know what "10" feels like so no relay race can beat me now! Wasatch back: here I come!
