We did go to Jackson Hole in May for the weekend. I found a groupon for the Wort Hotel that was a good deal so we got it. I also told my sister Jami about it and her family also ended up coming. They came a day early and we left a day later.
I really enjoyed it up there. It kind of has a Park City feel to it. The drive took about 6 hours with the Kelsinator's potty breaks and the pregnant lady's potty breaks:) Not too bad.
The first night we just hung out and ate dinner at a covered wagon cookout and show. We road up a canyon in a covered wagon, ate some bbq and they put on a little western show with Indians, cowboys and such.
The next day we headed up to Grand Teton National Park where we saw some moose and also went on about a 2 mile hike around a lake. So beautiful up there and only 20 minutes out of Jackson.
Most of the time we walked around Jackson Hole and checked out all of the shops.
Chad did bring his bike and went on a ride into Grand Teton. He was training for his race The Rockwell Relay. It was also his birthday weekend so Kels and I had fun picking out a Jackson Hole hat for him.
We went up to where the tram is but we were a week early for the season so it was not open yet. That night we tried Bubba's BBQ. It was only so so.
And what a boring post. Sorry. Just trying to document a little.
Potty break on the drive up!
Stopped to sit on a rock on our hike. Love my niece Megan's face. Gotta love 7 year olds.
Dad and Kels at the tram.
I'm slowly getting caught up on the blog. Probably have missed a lot that I can't remember....
