April 2014:San Diego Trip

Chad and I decided to take a trip out to San Diego on a whim. I was pregnant with Caroline but not sure how far along. Maybe about 16 weeks? I found a Groupon in San Clemente for a Best Western so of course I was all over that! Love me some Best Western! While there, we hung out on the beach, went to the San Diego Zoo and ate yummy yummy clam chowder at The Fishermen's Restaurant. It was located on a pier and really beautiful. 

March 2014

Mom took some snowboarding lessons in March. I was pretty sore but made some progress in my skills. Definitely need to do some more lessons someday. Totally worth the teaching.

On my way to work, someone turned left in front of me and we totaled this sweet ride. I was fine and went on to work. It was the last car my dad bought and I actually still miss it. It was a good car.

Christmas? What's Christmas? We dropped the ball a bit with the pics apparently. Oh well. Next year hopefully there are more. These two gems are from Friday nights when Mom works and everybody else goes out to eat and have a picnic downstairs.

Thanksgiving in Tucson 2013

November 2013

Obviously didn't do a good job documenting our trip to Tucson for Thanksgiving. Oops. Any peeps out there with pics send them to me please!!! We went up to the Wilkes' home in Phoenix with all of the Nelson clan for Thanksgiving dinner. We stayed there for the night and drove home to SLC. While we were down in Tucson, we went to Sahuarita to get tons and tons of pecans from the pecan farms down there. We had them for a quite a few month and even shared half with Jami's family.
