A couple of weeks ago Chad and I had the pleasure of taking our friend Rick's pumpkin to the Utah Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off just down the street from us. The pumpkins were enormous and it took a fork lift to move them around. The heaviest one was unfortunately not Rick's. The winner weighed over 1000 pounds. Just shy of the state record of 1104. That's a lot of pumpkin pies:) You can obviously see by the ominous clouds that it was very rainy and cold. Not the fun part. That's for sure.
