Easter Festivities!

Chad and I had a lot of fun this Sunday for easter. We made our very first honey baked ham, my mom made a really good spinach salad, and Kelli made angel food cake! It was a very last minute planning so only some of my family could make it. Chad's cousin Amy was actually able to come too! As you can see from the picture below, I forced Chad into dyeing some eggs. They didn't turn out that pretty but we had a good time and that's all that matters!
Finally good enough weather to be outside without a jacket!

The boys had a good time playing soccer around the backyard!

Mom and Hailee chatting it up!

Joel getting in on the fun with Josh and Jayden!

And last but not least the two blondes take a picture together! Who's cuter? J/k. I know it's Hailee!!!

Hope everyone had a good Easter! Getting together with family always makes me feel very blest to have them around.

You look so skinny! Glad you had a good time, I think Easter is becoming one of my favorites! We need to hang before I leave!

Looks like you guys had alot of fun. Thanks for inviting Amy - that was really nice of you guys to think of her. After Chad called and I told Joe that you were inviting her he said well heck lets jump in the car and head down there for dinner too. We can be there in 3 1/2 hrs. Funny!!! So watch out - next time you might just find us on your doorstep!! hahahaha

What professional looking eggs!!! Ha! I think coloring eggs is so disappointing waiting for them to color and then they never turn out as cute as you hope. I always wish I could have eggs as nice as Martha Stewart but that will probably never happen. Oh well...

That was nice you invited Amy over. I could see Chad getting frustrated that his eggs weren't turning out perfect how he expected them I'm sure. :) Also, random question, what are you going to do with your blog name when you aren't considered 'newlyweds' anymore?

We'll just have to act like newlyweds forever and then I'll never have to worry about it!
